On to dog heaven

For some reason blogger was publishing my drafts before they were complete-sorry!

Last week our family dog of 13.5 years died. We were so very lucky that it was peaceful, quick, and in the comforts of our living room. No traumatic trip to the vet or months of pain. Jupi went for her usual walk the night before. She was able to say goodbye to all her best friends (animal and human). My mom, my neighbor, and I were all with her when she stopped breathing. I miss her so much but am so thankful for an amazing 13.5 years.

They were there to see the Boston Pops perform and the kids took right to the lifeguard chair! Don't they look like they are straight out of a preppy nautical ad!?
