My sister and I arrived in Charleston yesterday. We made it out of DC just before the rain/storms. Phew! This weekend I will be doing a lot of shopping, eating, and exploring Charleston while helping my sister move into her house. I can't wait to share photos!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Stay tuned for my Charleston recap next week!

Currently Loving: Target Flats
I still regret not buying more of my beloved striped Target flats (from the Webster for Target collection).
Luckily I have found a similar ballet flat in other designs: the Merona Madge flats. All of the shoes below fit the same/are the same material (just different designs) so I stocked up this time! Yet to have any blisters with them! Many of these are still in stores so check your local Target! They are just under $20 and I basically live in mine now.
The blue version of this pair was my first of the Merona Madge flats. I loved them so much that I got a second pair and the same pattern in red. Merona Madge Ballet flat in red
Next I got this solid green pair.
Then I saw this cute navy and white pattern. Just got these last week and this design might be my favorite so far!
There is a pretty blue pair too.
I haven't seen the cap toe yellow and cap toe green pairs in person but they are perfect for summer!

Vegas recap and off to DC/Charleston!
Friday night after work I hopped on the plane to Vegas to meet my doctor (!) sister and dad. Well I didn't really hop as I was yet again delayed. At least this time they kept us in the terminal instead of on the plane. I didn't get into Vegas until after 11:30 so I basically went right to bed. This Vegas trip was quick and all about relaxing. No crazy night clubs!
Saturday morning we ordered room service (I always at least attempt to get chocolate chip pancakes) then headed for the pool. It was hot hot hot! It was nice to have a cabana for breaks from the sun. Unfortunately I hurt my foot which slowed me down a bit the rest of the weekend. I had made an appointment for a pedicure and it was too late to cancel so I just got my good foot painted. HA!
Saturday night we went to see a preview of the new Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show One at Mandalay Bay. It was adapted from the touring show Immortal. One is shorter and more theatrical (from what I have heard/read). It was amazing. All of my favorite Michael Jackson songs. SO many talented dancers! The show officially opens at the end of this month.
Then we went to a late dinner back at Allegro at the Wynn.
Sunday morning we slept in, ordered room service again, and then relaxed on our balcony before heading to the airport. A very quick trip!
We left Las Vegas in one of the hotel's Rolls Royces, Sinatra playing on the radio. It was the perfect way to end our trip!
I am not working this week (grandparents in town. woo!) so today I am catching up on errands before I leave for DC tomorrow. I'll be flying to DC with my sister and then later this week we are driving to Charleston together. I can't believe my sister is moving to Charleston. So exciting!

Nautical Photo of the Week: Nautical Baby Shower
This week I am featuring a nautical baby shower thrown by Megan of Fried Green Pickles. The shower, for Megan's friend Kelly Anne, was over Memorial Day weekend. The parents to be love the water so it was only appropriate to do a nautical baby shower for their little one!

Inspiration: Coastal Outdoor Spaces
Coastal Living has the best decorating inspiration. With summer around the corner it's time to think about outside spaces. I haven't done anything with my balcony since this post last year (yikes) but I am finally tackling it this month! I wish I could have a swing and a rocking chair. One day!
Any suggestions on working with a small outdoor space?
