What I am wearing:
Kimball dress

here for under $200
My high school graduation was definitely different. We all wore the same
white dress (that a classmate designed) and carried
flowers (I feel prepared for all future weddings now). We also sang a song and it was amazingly nautical and perfect: "Come Sail Away" (by Styx)! Obviously we left out that weird alien part in the middle but just imagine 90 girls in white dresses (with flowers) singing Come Sail Away.
If you don't know the song, watch the video
here. Here are the lyrics:
I'm sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea
Ive got to be free, free to face the life that's ahead of me
On board, I'm the captain, so climb aboard
Well search for tomorrow on every shore
And Ill try, oh lord, Ill try to carry on
I look to the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory
Some happy, some sad
I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had
We live happily forever, so the story goes
But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold
But well try best that we can to carry on
A gathering of angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope, and this is what they said
They said come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
This is not my graduating class but I took a photo of last year's from the newsletter/annual report thingy (thanks to my mom for always sending me these!):
