Cosmopolitan Chic

Today I am participating in the #CosmopolitanChic blog challenge! This is how I would spend a day at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. I am trying to be better about packing lightly, especially on quick weekend getaways. October in Las Vegas can be cool in the mornings and at night but still warm (70s/80s) during the day since it is the desert.

I would start with the Lilly Pulitzer rory strappy camisole in the electric feel print. The colors are bright and fun-perfect for Las Vegas. I have no problem wearing white after Labor Day so I would pair the top with white pants, or if it is really hot, white shorts. If you do not want to wear white I think this top would look just as great with dark jeans. I would bring along a navy cardigan for the plane and keep it with me just in case (like if the AC is blasting inside a restaurant). I prefer flats so I would wear gold sandals like these from Old Navy. You could also switch into booties, heels, or wedges for dinner and the club.

I would start my day at the Wicked Spoon. Can you believe I have never eaten at one of the famous Vegas buffets? The Wicked Spoon has a gelato bar. Count me in!

For lunch I would have to try to find the Secret Pizza Place hidden on the third floor. There's no sign and it is standing room only. The pizza is supposed to be amazing-if you can find it!

If it's warm enough I would head to the pool to relax after lunch. Or maybe go shopping!

I think tapas would be delicious for dinner. Jaleo has a DC location and now one in Las Vegas.

After dinner it's time to check out Marquee. I'm not really into clubs but I usually go with friends when I am in Las Vegas. Best people watching ever! And the clubs are always impressive. Marquee has three different rooms that play three different types of music so everyone in your group can find their place.

After a full day at The Cosmopolitan I will be ready for bed. That's for sure!
