DellaLA + Apple launch party

A good cause + cute bags= start shopping! The founder of Della is a family friend so I am especially excited about the recent news! Yesterday was the launch of Della's exclusive MacBook cases in Apple stores! You can now purchase your Della MacBook case at all LA and NYC Apple stores! If you are not in one of those cities then you can still buy your case online here

Here I am at the launch party last night (didn't get a photo with my guest, Leeann though):






"Della empowers women of Hohoe, Ghana to gain financial independence by providing jobs, education and skill training. Each item is handmade by economically vulnerable women working under Beatrice's mentorship. The sale of every bag has a positive effect on the people of Hohoe. Tina's intention behind Della is to provide jobs and education to the community, while bringing awareness of Hohoe's struggle to the Western World."

    I'm always skeptical of corporate social responsibility projects, but this one actually sounds like more than jut a marketing ploy. Gorgeous cases too. I like it!
