Monday morning we woke up early and headed to a quick breakfast at
The Templeton. We wanted to spend the morning walking around
Granville Island. Granville has a
public market, shops, restaurants, art galleries (and studios where you can see local artisans at work), a theater and more. For kids there is a separate
Kid's Market which has an indoor Adventure Zone (four levels of climbing structures, slides, tunnels, and more), toy stores, a book store, and a magic shop. Plus there is a water park outside!

I picked up a bunch of nautical locally made cards and anchor washi tape at Paper-Ya |

Tug boat for kids to play in (right outside the Kid's Market) |
For lunch we picked up food from the public market (bread and cheese, fruit, and mini donuts) to go. We had to get on the road to Seattle!
Great photos :)

Thank you, Dominika! I brought my real camera with me for this trip and am glad I did!
DeleteLove that tug boat for kids! I would love to have a public market like that by my house.
ReplyDeleteYou could spend hours playing in the boat or inside the kid building. Plus there is a cement factory on the island that does an open house in the spring for kids! The cement mixers I saw were painted like a strawberry and corn on the cob!
DeleteThose berries look delicious and the tug boat is too cute!
ReplyDeleteBerries!! Very cool, I love places like this!
ReplyDeleteThey were delicious!!!
