To honor my 22nd birthday I present 22 special/amazing/unique/crazy things I did this year (Oct 07-08):
1. I went skidiving above the Great Barrier Reef (of course I had to make this #1)
2. I danced on stage with Elton John
3. I lived in Australia for a semester
4. I held a koala
5. I saw Kelly Slater surf
6. I saw penguins in the wild
7. I snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef
8. I did a tour of the Capitol building (and the monuments)
9. I went on a booze cruise (and watched my friend drop her purse in the river)
10.I gambled for the first time
11.I started my final year of college
12.I had a leech on my leg
13.I (we) got lost on a hike (luckily my group stayed together!)
14.I saw a Tasmanian Devil
15.I got bangs
16.I partied in the VIP room at Tao (and don't ever need to do that again!)
17.I was on Australian television (I miss Australian Big Brother-so much better)
18.I got a federal internship
19.I got straight As
20.I flew on an airplane without a door
21.I saw a deadly snake in the wild
22. I started this blog!

So jealous you got to dance on stage with Elton; I saw his show in Vegas, and he is SUCH a great entertainer.
And hurrah for Australia; I've only been to NSW, but looking forward to going back someday to see more or just up and moving to Sydney, one of my favorite cities.
